St. Paul's Prayer and Healing

St. Paul’s has an active prayer ministry. Many members have a strong grounding in prayer in the Holy Spirit.

We actively pray for the members and all who attend who have prayer needs, particularly during the Prayers of the People. We also have two prayer teams available during the 10:30 AM service. Individuals seeking prayer can come to either team during communion or after the service.          

We have an Inner Healing Prayer team that meets at the request of the pastor or an individual. This team has members trained in Dennis and Rita Bennet’s Emotionally Free program and other members trained in Francis and Judith McNutt’s Christian Healing Prayer program. This team is very active and we have see the results of God's Healing prayer time and again in our congregation.

Additionally, the Pastors and members visit those who are ill at home or in the hospital.  We also activate a “prayer chain” by internet and telephone for particular needs during the week.

Types of Prayer Lists

We have two prayer lists available: public and private. The public list is printed in our bulletin, , and sent out to our to our prayer team. The private prayer lists is viewed only by our clergy. When making a prayer request, please note which list you wish to be placed on.
